I wouldn't feel right making money off something illegally downloaded. Like, personal use is one thing, but making money off pirated software just doesn't seem right to me. It's just like making a CD off 12 tracks you illegally downloaded :P

Yeah, but you didn't produce those tracks. I mean sure, I didn't make the program, but I made the image didn't I? Artists didn't make the program they use to edit their songs either, but they did make the song. It's not about which paint brush you use, it's about the painting you make with it.

Buddy, making the program is a lot different from pirating it. Purchasing it legally gives the makers of the program credit for what they do. But pirating it just doesn't seem fair to me. What if you had created a completely awesome program, and no one wanted to pay for it so they decided to pirate it? I'd probably be pretty annoyed, and you would probably be too.
