I also keep I backup copy of my Favs and Docs on the D partition to go along with my image of the C one. All my other stuff like photos or music are already on the D partition.

If you want to resize your partitions, create a new partition to install another operating system without losing your data, you need a powerful disk partitioning utility like Partition Magic. If you don't want to pay for a commercial application, you can use QtParted, an open-source utility that comes with Knoppix.

WD 640GB Black as Boot

WD 640GB Black as Data

Probably going to be grabbing an SSD and putting the two 640's in some kind of RAID (one with actual redundancy, not RAID 0)

I think your only option with redundancy in RAID is RAID 1 :P

SSDs FTW though.

My setup has changed a little since I last posted in this thread. Now have everything on a WD Black 1Tb instead of 3 different smaller drives. 60Gb for C (System), 671Gb for D (Storage), 119Gb for E (Games) and 80Gb for F (VM's). Probably hook my original 250Gb Seagate up to store backup images or something.

EASEUS' program works for me.

Did the job when I killed off C: on my WD Blue to merge it with the second partition.

Hey, it's better than nothing and I might as well since I have two matching drives.

Haha, RAID 1 is a good choice in my opinion. All without the complexity of RAID 5, except you only get half the capacity. I've always wanted to do a RAID 1 setup, but since I am a silent PC enthusiast, rule of thumb is 1 hard drive only. :P (NAS FTW though)
