Hi all, just looking 4 a little help. I'm trying 2 reedit a "published" clip I made in windows movie maker. I can succesfully "split" the clip and add transitions, but when I try 2 play the clips it just stops at the first transition. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.Ta.

Did you drag them into the storyboard and then add the transitions correctly? Sorry I didn't quite understand your question.

Also it is generally not advisable to re-encode a previously encoded video. That would significantly degrade quality. :P

Thankyou. Yes I did drag the previously published clip into the storyboard and then split it to try reeditng it and placed tr'sitions but it wouldn't play past the first tr'sition. I think the second part of your reply gives me good advice. I'd best just move on to something new. Ta 4 ur help.

What do you mean it "doesn't play past the first transition"?

Ok, when I "split" the clip I was trying to reedit I placed a transition between the separated parts of the clip & then hit play to see how the tr'sition would look at that point. WMV played until it reached the end of the first part (of the split clip) & then stopped. It wouldnt play through the tr'sition to the second part of the split clip. I hope Im making sense now. Ta.

Thanks for your help. Sorry for the confusion. Some of these (Pixelan) spice FX are pretty inspiring.
