chc is right, you would get worse performance out of Vista. Better battery life and overall usage from 7. As old as XP is, really netbooks are so crippled, that is why there are still so many running on XP.

He uses a Mac, dude, but I don't know if Hackintosh would get me more performance. I don't use Mac, as Linux. I tried to use Linux (Ubuntu), but it's to hard for me.

You won't get performance, I got a friend to hackintosh a netbook before. The 950 really lets you down at times.

Hackintoshing the system would provide reduced performance and battery life.
