So I hooked up my Logitech Orbit AF webcam on my laptop and started spying out the window. My first little video lasted me 8~9 hours. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch this ***hole guy sooner or later and present him to the police with some evidence. This will probably help out the community as well since the neighborhood got a few droppings too.

Wow. (Y) Hope it works out well, man. How's the Calgary police in dealing with stuff like this? Are they usually efficient and straight to the point, or do they take ages to resolve this stuff?

They're usually pretty good on resolving this kinda junk, provided that you give appropriate evidence.

1. Set up webcam
2. dSLR + Telephoto when you spot him
3. Go outside with your airsoft gun and yell EVERYONE DOWN ON THE GROUND
4. Take their wallet
5. Call police

That setup should be more than able to catch this person. I wonder why they are egging your house, provoke anyone lately?

Well, obviously not, because they were egging other people's houses also.

I'm still working on it, but they probably got scared off because my webcam is peeking out the window.

How obvious is it? I mean can they see the webcam?

I think it would be pretty funny if you just left some old webcam on your window without having it plugged in just to scare people away, lol.

My dog is the primary lookout. When he goes to sleep, my webcam comes in handy. It's not as obvious, especially when the night rolls around. Even in the day with a light background, you can barely see it.

Meh, no one is really going to look up there. Not sure if parking your Acura RDX outside is a good idea though :P
