Just speaking on behalf of Preston... the review is scheduled for next week, just in before the picture police -- he got 5 stitches on his finger working on his computer (Not from the A60 though haha) last night :|

Any questions feel free to ask though.

That's a cool looking case! I like the hot-swap on the side, that would be a nice feature for someone on the go. Also, boo for PC-related injuries...

My Silverstone KL-02 had a hot swap bay, except it's behind the front fan, so it's not as convenient as the Armor A60.

Yeah I was taking apart my Dell Studio XPS 415mt since that case was quite small. Since it was fresh from the box from Dell, they don't expect you to open the computer, so everything was snug in, and hence, pulling out parts from such a case is not a good idea... but all the parts should be in the Armor A60 with pics taken. I just didn't get the chance to upload the preview pics yet for the picture police.

Well hope you're feeling better from that encounter with your computer. The case does look very nice and that hot swap bay looks interesting.

Nice case Preston - how does it compare against the A90 the chc has?

From what I know, it is MSRP $10 cheaper, has the slide out drive bay, and doesn't look as good (IMO :P ). Anything else is up to Preston to update you on :P

The looks of the case seems alright to me, but that drive bay seems to be a bit redundant in my opinion. I wouldn't use it unless your motherboard has enough SATA ports to support multiple hard drives and optical drives. In my case, the Dell motherboard only supports up to 4 SATA devices, one of which I use for the external USB. Other than that, it's pretty good so far.

Most motherboards these days support at least 6 SATA ports, you should keep that in mind for the review. Of course I am using the P55 chipset as the standard here.

You mean eSATA?

By the way, my P7P55D-E Premium has 8 SATA ports. :P Even if you have 4, 2 for hard drives (1 with the external bay), 1 for optical drive, and 1 for chassis eSATA should not be much of a problem. :P

Yeah sorry, working on my Toshiba laptop with a crappy keyboard. I have exactly enough devices and ports so it'll be okay for me, but I'll be mentioning other stuff too in detail.

Hope to see that, I do not believe your Dell mobo makes a fair comparison in terms of SATA though, most boards these days just have more than your four.

My spare P35 board that I used for my sister's system has 4 :P

The standard now is pretty much 4 SATA 3Gbps with two SATA 6Gbps compatible ones.

Chipset has 4... so all high end mobos should take advantage of all of them. 2 SATA 6Gb/s goes on the PCI Express lanes with a separate chip like my P7P55D-E Premium. But yeah like Shift said minimum is practically 6 regardless of combo on all retail motherboards.

Usually SATA3 is just an add on, no?

Yes, as aforementioned. SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0 is not natively supported by any Intel 5-series chipsets.

Anyways review is coming this week :D
