Help
On the backend, we have improved support for latest web standards, but for most users what we have now is a improved user interface and better Windows 7 integration. Looks like Microsoft is on a roll lately (Starting with IE7, then IE8, and now IE9). I'm very used to using Firefox since the early pre-release dates -- not necessarily because it is a "superior" browser (Well technically it was back in the days), but it's more of a habit. Anyone else got around with IE9 beta?

Me! (Of course, lol) 
I am impressed by its hardware acceleration. It easily bests the competition, with Opera, Safari/Chrome, and Firefox trailing it (in that order, with a significant gap for Firefox). I'm still a fan of Firefox/Opera for my daily use, but IE9 new support makes it a much better browser in my eyes.

It's been stable for me, and I've been running it like crazy (in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors) with their respective versions of Java at full blast, lol.

Agreed, this may replace Firefox for me in the future if the proper addons can be found.

Meh, no point of running 2 different browsers since it requires installation and such. Windows integrated FTW

IE 9 might help battery last longer, these stats may not have much impact on the ongoing browser wars. Internet Explorer has been losing ground to chrome and fire fox in particular for far too long; and for most consumers, energy efficiency might not be a deciding factor when choosing a web browser.

Realistically, Windows 7 with advanced power management features as an operating system adds about half an hour max to your computer compared to Windows Vista (Out of 7 hours for my old T400). I doubt it makes more than 5 minutes difference with IE9.
