With IE9 around the corner, and competitors such as Google Chrome, anyone think the days of mass Firefox reign has ended?

I find it kind of sad to see how a browser who was always one step ahead in well roundedness is no long as good as what it used to be in relative to other products... I've been using it since the 0.x days, and it's more of a habit to use it than anything else.

This is sad indeed, something that was once seen as the market leader in terms of IE alternatives is now near the bottom of the pile in terms of benefits and speeds. Wish their next version will be much better and faster. I use it for familiarity as well.

The stuff that brought Firefox to the realm -- security, speed, and features -- really aren't there anymore. Remember when IE6 had no tabbed browsing? Those were the days. (Security was never really a concern for me personally)

Short answer - maybe.
Long answer - As you guys have said Firefox is much better than IE. Now that everything is the same in features there's no reason why to use another browser than the one that comes with Windows. IE9 FTW.

Same here, although I do use Firefox for a few things.

Haha, you guys aren't the only ones. There are just no more compelling reasons to switch anymore :|
