I've been very effective at spotting both unmarked and marked police cars with pure eyesight in the past few years, but it seems the fleet of tricky Calgary unmarked cop cars are back. I was driving through a construction zone a few minutes ago, and here is a vehicle that looks pretty much EXACTLY like a construction truck parked in a place that just went from 80 to 60 downhill. He was running continuous radar on Ka band so my V995 picked it up quite a while back
Seriously if it wasn't for my radar detector, even I would have missed that one.
