Surprise, surprise: Official release date is ACTUALLY November 24th now. In other news, some of my friends have reportedly purchased the game at local retailers today.

Not yet, I plan to during the holidays along with NHL11 and CoD:BO.

5 years, actually. The Playstation 3 was released in 2006, but Gran Turismo 5 development has started in 2005. But yeah, it took long enough. They got enough bad press for notorious delays. I still need to get my hands on the 'ultimate driving simulator' :P

Wouldn't recommend CoD:BO, but GT5 is a game you must purchase if you own a PS3. :P

Yeah I heard from a lot of my friends GT5 goes before CoD, but they also want me to get it so we can play together.
