Anyone bought it yet? I got mine yesterday - evolutionary step for Office 2007 but I got to love the new Outlook. Everything is so much faster and conversation view + social network integration = win. Worth every penny.

Haven't got a hold of it yet, and I probably won't be buying it this time around either. It's too incremental of an update to Office 2007, and I don't even know how to use 99% of the advanced features in the entire Office suite. I am happy with what I have. Windows, on the other hand, is another story. :P

Microsoft is selling Office 2010 like crazy though.

Yeah, I've been using it since it was in beta (Yay for beta testing). Also, its nice to finally have a 64-bit version for those larger files. IMHO Outlook still doesn't play nice with GMail, but its better than it has been.

Been using it in all my computers since September. I like it, and the new Outlook is a lot easier to use with the new social networking features.

Otherwise though I don't think I'm an advanced enough user to utilize all the new features :P

Been using it for a few months now. It definitely loads quicker than 2007 did. I like it for the most part, but like you shift, not really an advanced user so most stuff I just don't use or need to use.

Everyone keeps saying how much it loads faster. But how much faster can it load? All my Office apps load instantly with my SSD :S

Almost instantaneous even without an SSD, compared to 2007 which took at least 20-30 seconds for me.

Hard drive is Western Digital Black 640 (FALS)

20-30 seconds? :| I don't recall it being THAT long... especially with Superfetch it should not take more than 2 seconds :P

I haven't got it either but again I don't use any Advanced features of 2007 so the Ribbon was the biggest thing.

Outlook 2010 ribbon just does not work. The tool-bars were better for some functions. Outlook 2007 had it right with the ribbon only in compose window.

Agreed but I'm fine with Office 2010 I have at work for Outlook. I just use Office 2007 at home though, no point for the upgrade.
