I just downloaded it off Windows Update; never really saw what the hype was all about in Beta. I have to admit it's pretty damn slick, minimalist toolbars and great layout, and damn it's FAST!

So it is Google Chrome, with the Microsoft branding?

Hmm it seems it is not distributing via WSUS yet, so I got it off regular Windows Update. Clean interface and I agree with you -- it's seriously fast :|

All the beta hype was worth the deal.

Go to Internet Options and turn off hardware font acceleration like Firefox4.

That does not work.

But seriously, Internet Explorer 9 is quite impressive. Too bad I dropped them a long time ago, because it's a seriously good browser.

I have to say it really just feels like Firefox 4. As far as security goes I'm curious if it can stand up against Firefox or Chrome. It certainly feels like they finally brought IE back up to where it should be.

Oh, must be just me then - but the font rendering looks pretty nice.

The minimalism leaves the rest of the screen for websites. It’s a big improvement, but not significantly better than Chrome or Firefox 4 which both have a similar look.
