Anyone bought one? (16GB @ $99/32GB @ $149) A bit late to the party in posting about this, but I almost bought one when the firesale was on a few days ago... until I saw Youtube videos of WebOS and decided it was not even worth my hundred bucks. :S

From what I understand, there are still more shipments going to the US, but I don't think there is any more stock in Canada. I tried to grab it on day 1 of the sale, but man that sold out fast.

No progress so far. I would LOVE to see Android. The iPad is 10x better than this ****... but Galaxy Tab style wont be bad.

There are allegedly development units that somehow made it into the wild with Android ports on it, but so far aftermarket ROMs aren't available. :S

I think the HP TouchPad fire sale generated more interest in WebOS and HP tablets than it has ever been... and more advertising benefits than ever. I think it's really paying off for the company.

I agree, this sale has definitely helped the WebOS scene, even if people do port Android onto the Touchpad, the initial OS is still being praised by some and not all users will be able to get Android running on it. On another note, looks like they are producing a batch of them: http://aphnetworks.c...-production-run.

Looks like a great marketing campaign by HP though - product is still lackluster.

Well at least they got everyone to talk about the HP TouchPad. While the TouchPad is dead, mentioning the HP brand has a lot of value. Might as well make the best out of it :P
