I just came back from New York this morning/afternoon for a business trip on Delta, and I decided to try out the Gogo WiFi Inflight Internet Service (Our company accepts these as claims now and it's not expensive). I have to admit its pretty damn cool and it really makes my 7.5 hour flight so much better - and lets just say I got a lot of "work" done. Coverage is decent consistent, and speed is ok although kind of slow - if you're used to using 3G then its not so bad. Overall its worth the money even if I had to pay for it!
Also the new Boeing 737-800 is amazing. Not sure if Big Bang or anyone flew one before.

We have it on American Airlines, I use it when Deadheading. I don't think we have as many of these Enabled as Delta though - only 767-200 and some 737 and MD80s. (Yes we still got those ****ty MD80s)

Too bad it's only licensed for use over United States. I'm sure they can make a few bucks off me if the service is available in Canada. After all, some Air Canada planes already have it

This would make a GREAT service over trans continental flights. Id pay for it for sure.

Oh and Yes I've flew in a 737-800, not a lot of Flight Hours, but it's a great plane to Fly.

The problem is current technology, or rather, deployment. It relies on cell phone towers (Terrestrial transmitters). If they can have satellite signal instead, which is probably feasible considering how Westjet had Bell ExpressVu live TV for years, then I will definitely love some WiFi especially if I'm flying to Hong Kong or other flights.
