November 2011 Review Image Size Revision

For all reviews scheduled for publication starting in November, we will now adopt picture dimensions of 620x413 rather than the current 550x413. This is our 4th revision to the standard (From 400x300, to 470x353, and the current 550x413), and the first adjustment to the aspect ratio. We have always used 4:3, but I think 3:2 is better... since most of us have dSLRs anyway and most pictures are taken in that ratio regardless :P

:P Nice - I like the change. I don't know any review sites that uses that ratio tho.

There is a first for everything :P. Just watch, every review site in a year from now will be doing it lol

Haha, then we can all pretend to own dSLR cameras* :D

(*dSLR owners at APH include Jeremy, Preston, and I. I took the above pic with L-series lens, which costs more than like 10 of your average P&S cameras :P )

I don't think aspect ratio is really THAT important, we're just increasing the amount of pixels for better pictures. And since most of us have dSLRs, it's more convenient during the editing process :D
