Looks like they're pretty loaded up lately for review requests. We'll see how it goes. We'll definitely need to get the mobos in though.

Doesnt look like a big improvement from LGA1155 sandy bridge, but cant wait until Ivy Bridge E to come and what Intel has for LGA2011.

The LGA2011 processors are actually pretty underwhelming. I mean price to performance the processors are a joke. The 3960X in particular, while the fastest just doesn't look jaw dropping when you see the $1000 price tag. The 3930K on the other hand, while a bit higher than I think it should be, is much better deal overall. However, I can't see any huge advantages over a 2600K... since the system would be significantly cheaper to build.

:P Well law of diminishing returns, when DDR3 first came out everyone made the same complaints.

I guess it is a step in the right direction. It's rather the way things came out. If LGA 2011 came out first as an enthusiast platform with LGA 1155 as a consumer platform, then no one would be complaining. (Like how first generation Core processors came out).

Well, yeah to add to that, a 2700K is not much faster than a 2600K -- people would pay for the best :P
