Ok, so I'm thinking about upgrading my cell phone in the near future. However, I need one that has really good support for Google calendar integration/management, as I depend heavily upon it for my business/work.

So, which platform/phones should I be looking at? I'm guessing an android device atm, but yeah, not really sure.

Can you easily edit/change calendar events, or can you only view your calendar? The reason I originally mentioned android is because Android=Google, Gmail=Google.

Android obviously works very well with Google Calendar but what are you looking for - just this one feature (iphone does a good job as well, but as tight as android, but still excellent) or overall Phone experience?

I have android but I'm going to switch back probably.

Well, admittedly, I've never owned a smartphone.
So, I know there are a few choices out there, namely, android based phones, blackberry, Windows phones, and iPhones.

I will be using the phone for my business, to keep appointments (entered into Google calendar) synchronized. More or less, voice calls and email will be my main priorities.

In my personal opinion, the iPhone is probably your best bet. I don't even like Apple products, but I think it will give you the best user experience for what you need (Email, scheduling). Android is uber fragmented, and you'll be lucky to get 1-2 updates after your phone is purchased -- and you'll have to go through hell to do anything about it if it's not stock. For the iPhone, yes, it's a walled garden, but I'd rather have that than being left in the wild in a field full of weed :P

Android is fine, he's asking about Google integration - which is obviously good not saying Iphone is bad or anything.
