I'm planning to buy a new motherboard soon, whats the advantage of using a OEM Intel board over other brands like Gigabyte or MSI?

Well, firstly, almost any brand has an advantage over MSI :P

To answer your question, Intel boards traditionally do not perform as well as brands like ASUS in overclocking (Although they're working hard to change that), and typically comes with less features. But they're very stable boards that will last you forever. So if you're building a server or a workstation, an Intel board is probably a good choice. If you want something hardcore, I'd still take an ASUS.

It's amazing. I would NEVER have thought of own an Intel mobo by a long shot before this, but I'm thoroughly impressed.
