Being a Garmin employee, it's pretty funny how I've never actually owned a GPS. So recently they had an employee sale (Which is a further discount off the regular employee discount) and I picked up a 2595LMT, which is a pretty high end model.

I have to say I'm really impressed by how well it works right out of the box. The graphics are excellent, and the 3D map feature in view mode just works flawlessly -- it's also extremely quick at acquiring GPS signals (It's almost instant). Also, I realized that the speed indicator is pretty much dead on with the digital speedometer on my car, which is awesome. I'm very impressed by this unit, especially for the money I paid

Glad to see you enjoy the products your company makes. Looks very nice and the fact that it is faster than old style GPS really does impress me as well.

;) This is why you buy cars with in-dash nav.

Honestly looks like a slick device. How much?

I'm not sure if I can disclose the price. But it was a very good deal. Normal retail is about $250 :P

Most nav's don't, usually you can load then when you travel.
