Just wondering if you guys have any test results.

Constants
Car: 2007 Honda Civic LX, 5 speed
Tires: Continental ExtremeContact DWS
Oil: Amsoil 5W20 synthetic
Gas: Shell 87 octane
Temperature: 15-25c
A/C use: Sometimes
Road: Mostly highway

Variables
Pressure: 35.0 PSI front/back vs. 41.0 PSI front/back

Results
35.0 PSI: 6.7 to 6.8L/100km (3 tanks of gas)
41.0 PSI: 6.1 to 6.3L/100km (Standard config, so "a lot")

Other notes
I was actually getting about 6.7 to 6.8L/100km with VERY conservative driving -- smooth acceleration and deceleration, timed lights, engine shutoff at long lights, and max speed of 109km/h a day on the highway. I was still able to get 6.1L/100km flat out at very high speeds at a local track facility.

Yeah I think the ExtremeContacts make a big difference, if the DWS and DW is similar in characteristics.
