I use QNAP at work and at home, it's definitely the software that makes it - the hardware isn't special other than the easy hot swap design, but every one has it. The software is brilliant.Seems rather expensive but all my friends who has QNAP loves it.

Yeah, it's actually coming this week.
Nothing is missing on ARM. It's the exact same software.
