Got a 10GB prepaid SIM card with 1000 free minutes here in HK with Three. LTE data for <$300 HKD FTW

I tether my PC off it since I don't have a regular internet connection. I have to admit, 10GB really isn't that much with everything included. Got to lay off the video streaming and any downloads

No WiFi? Well Cell Phone service is dirt cheap in HK and performance looks pretty Decent. What's the Speed Cap on the card?

It's a full speed 42Mbps connection haha. Basically no speed cap.

 10GB is a lot of mobile data but if you're going to use it all then no YouTube and downloading files - hope you're surviving.

I'm at 2.7GB after a week and a day. Surprisingly, I'm not using that much even with all that tethering.

Yep, when you turn on Metered Network mode, Windows 10 automatically restricts a lot of background network activity. Too bad MacOS does not have this feature

One could say - Windows is a better OS!

Yeah, 10GB goes by pretty fast when you tether. Even in HK.

True if you work out the math that's about 500MB/day for 3 weeks - it's not a lot.

3's good. No problems at all anywhere, and the speed is great.

I've used 100MB since I got back to Canada, lol.
