Lol just trying some in-flight WiFi as we're going 800km/h over Thunder Bay in Western Ontario. Not bad when you're 30,000 feet in the air.

Yep, 15 minutes free.

Interesting results - how do they restrict it? Can you just switch your MAC address?

It's amazing how far Technology has come. WiFi in a Plane? Won't imagine that 10 Years ago.

Telus denied all our ability to price match since we've been milking them for a long time now (in terms of trying to get cheaper internet + home phone). We ended up going on the Shaw Wideopen 150, and speeds are immediately faster...

For reference, this was our Telus 25 the day before we swapped.

I do see max download speeds at around 20MB/s (which is approximately 160Mbps), so yes. Usually peaks there, and average is closer to around 17.

Those are some really good speeds. Some ISPs speed test better than actual throughput :P

Yep, then $80/month on the second year. A lot of people are switching over to ensure Telus' fiber network will not gain popularity as quickly as long as Shaw has people locked in. Also, Shaw Go WiFi is awesome.
