Dude, stop explaining for shaw, there the one thats supposed to fix it. Do you work for shaw? Nope. Did they pay you? Nope. If thats the case, and that my service doesnt reach even 50% of the advertised speed, its reasonable to call them up.

Shaw will make excuses like well its the area your in. or they'll blame your computer. That shaw guy won't wanna leave chcs on saturday cuz he'll wanna stay on a amd 64 computer which is so fast.

Phone them and ask lol, its your modem rented or purchased? If its rented its almost definitely switchable, if its purchased then thats another story. (Mine was purcahsed, but I got it exchanged because I was having probs with my connection)
