Lenovo Outs New Flex Notebooks, Desktop PCs

From DailyTech: Lenovo has announced the launch of new notebook and desktop computers. The new desktops include the A Series A540 AIO, which has a 23.8-inch multi-touch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. This AIO has an aluminum shell that is 4mm thick at the edge.

Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GT 840A GPU and the machine can be fitted with up to a Core i7 processor. Audio comes from a set of JBL speakers with Dolby Home Theater technology. Lenovo offers optional NFC tech and an optional TV tuner. The Windows 8.1-powered A540 starts at $1279.99 and will ship in July.

Lenovo has also announced the B50 laptop with a 15-inch screen. The B50 can be had with one of three displays including a 1366 x 768 anti-glare touchscreen, a “standard” 1366 x 768 screen, and a 1920 x 1080 screen. This machine runs Windows 7 and can be had with up to an Intel Core i7 processor. Users can opt for an optional GeForce 820M GPU, or even an AMD A8 processor with Radeon graphics.

The B50 starts at $399 and will ship in July.

Lenovo also has the Z40 and Z50 laptops with 1920 x 1080 displays and the latest AMD mobile processors. They both can also be equipped with R7 Radeon discrete graphics. The Z50 and Z40 start at $399 and ship in May and August respectively.
