ZOTAC Announces Diminutive ZBOX PI320 pico

From DailyTech: ZOTAC has always strived to bring enthusiasts the smallest, full-featured Mini-PCs on the market, but the company is looking to go one step further with the introduction of the new ZBOX PI320 pico.

The fanless device measures just 4.5” x 2.6” x 7.6” and manages to pack in 1.33GHz, quad-core Intel Bay Trail processor, 2GB of memory, and a 32GB SSD (eMMC). Graphics duties are of course handled by onboard Intel HD Graphics. When it comes to connectivity, the ZBOX PI320 pico includes a microSDHC/microSDXC slot (instead of larger SDHC/SDXC slot), HDMI-out, Bluetooth 4.0, and 802.11n Wi-Fi.

To cram so much functionality into a tiny package, some compromises had to be made, so that means that we only see an integrated 10/100 NIC and three USB 2.0 ports (instead of more capable USB 3.0 ports).

ZOTAC is also taking the step of providing Windows 8.1 with Bing preloaded with the ZBOX PI320 pico. If you recall, Windows 8.1 with Bing is a royalty-free version of Microsoft’s latest desktop operating system aimed at low-cost PCs.
