NVIDIA Offers Up 32GB, LTE-equipped SHIELD Tablet for Pre-order

From DailyTech: When NVIDIA announced its SHIELD tablet back in late July, two versions were announced: a 16GB Wi-Fi-only model and a 32GB model with LTE connectivity. Since that time, only the former model has been available for purchase, priced at $299.

Today, NVIDIA is finally taking orders for the 32GB LTE version of the SHIELD Tablet. The device will be available for $399 unlocked; choosing to buy it on contract through AT&T will drop the price to $299 according to Engadget.

For those that need a refresher, the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet features an 8-inch (1080p) display, quad-core Tegra K1 processor, 2GB of RAM, 5MP cameras (front and rear), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and GPS. The mobile gaming device is capable of streaming games in real time to Twitch, and has a library of over 400 gaming titles that are specifically optimized for SHIELD.

The LTE-equipped SHIELD Tablet will ship on September 30.
