From CNET: Google said Monday its cloud storage and file backup service is experiencing a service disruption. Some Drive users are getting an error message that says "The server encountered an error. Please try again later."
The company said it will provide an update with more information on the problem by 1 p.m. PT.
"We estimate that the issue is affecting less than 1.5% of the Drive user base," the company said on its app status dashboard.
In response to a request for comment, Google pointed to its app status dashboard for official updates.
