Forget about picking up a 128GB Pixel XL on Thursday

From CNET: If you thought you were going to stroll into a Verizon Wireless store on Thursday and pick up a 128GB Pixel XL when it goes on sale, think again.

Verizon, the exclusive wireless carrier for the GooglePixel and Pixel XL in the US, tweeted Wednesday that the biggest storage version of the larger phone is "sold out" but that all other Pixel models will be in stock.

The 5-inch Pixel and 5.5-inch Pixel XL are officially called "Pixel, a phone by Google" and have a "G" on the back, signifying how Google designed the phones on its own instead of tweaking another company's product into a Nexus. They feature a 2.51GHz Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, either 32GB or 128GB storage, a 12-megapixel camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera.

The Google Pixel starts at $649, £599 or AU$1,079, or $27 per month for the base model. The larger-capacity model will set you back an additional $100, AU$150 or £100.

The larger Pixel XL pricing starts at $769, £719 or AU$1,269 for the 32GB model and jumps to $869, £819 or AU$1,419 for the 128GB version.
