LG Optimus 2X Could Come to U.S. by March

From DailyTech: When the Optimus 2X was announced by LG last week, the company made no indication of when -- or even whether -- the first dual-core smartphone would be coming to the U.S. (We made our own predictions that it would, and soon, considering the success of the Optimus One stateside.)

Now, RCR Wireless says they have it "on good authority" that T-Mobile will be carrying the Tegra 2-equipped Android phone when it launches in the U.S. in late February or early March.

A source close to NVIDIA (makers of the Tegra 2) and LG told RCR that the device was "pretty slick."

“What you should expect at CES is for the superphone category to really reach full boil,” Mike Rayfield, general manager of NVIDIA's mobile business said in a blog post. "True superphones begin the process of merging an agile handheld with a PC and a gaming device. Full hardware-accelerated Flash is a given. So are console-quality gaming and 1080P video. You’ll be able to multitask with a vengeance – for example, streaming Pandora while playing sophisticated games against opponents wielding PCs or while conducting a video conference.”
