Real life benchmarks aside, how can anyone forget 3DMark06? Using default settings at 1280x1024, the factory overclocked NVIDIA 8800GT again destroyed the competition. The G92 based 8800GT is again far ahead of the previous generation G80 reference NVIDIA 8800GTS 320MB -- I was actually very surprised by these results put out by 3DMark06. I checked other 8800GT/8800GTS owner's 3DMark06 results that was provided to me, and the results are very similar -- a good indication that these 3DMark06 results are correct as above. The 8800GT certainly is impressive.
