Page 4 - Benchmark: FEAR
The NVIDIA 8800GTS based Asus EN8800GTS 320MB rendered twice as many FPS as the Asus EAX1950PRO in our FEAR benchmark with 4xAA/16xAF settings. All other settings were maxed out; including soft shadows.
The percentage difference drew closer as the AA is reduced to 2x and AF to 8x from 16x. However, the Asus EN8800GTS retained a significant lead regardless.
With no antialiasing and Bilinear AF, the Asus EN8800GTS 320MB pulled 64FPS, while the Asus EAX1950PRO maintained a playable 38FPS average.
