Page 8 - Benchmark: 3DMark06
As far as synthetics go, 3DMark06 is certainly everyone's favorite -- and we've put our cards through the run as well. Running under our Windows XP platform, the Gigabyte 8800GT TurboForce performed very well against the rest -- again, due to the 80MHz limit of the memory frequency against the Asus 8800GT TOP, the Gigabyte card scored slightly lower. The performance is still very good and the 80MHz memory frequency can easily be made up -- since the Samsung chips used on the Gigabyte 8800GT TurboForce's are designed to run at 1GHz by Samsung anyways.
