Gigabyte GeForce GTX 570 1280MB SOC Review (Page 8 of 13)

Page 8 - Benchmark: Far Cry 2

Far Cry 2 is the oldest game in our array of benchmarks. Released on October 21, 2008, Far Cry 2 uses a heavily modified version of the Dunia Engine with Havok Physics. This DirectX 10 game comes with an excellent benchmark utility that quite well reflects in-game performance, so again, we decided to use it to obtain our results for our graphs above. At 1920x1200 and everything maxed out, we are back to another swap session, except this time, the GeForce cards scaled better than the Radeon contestants in antialiasing adjustments. The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 570 1280MB SOC also had a good performance margin over a generic GTX 570. Our results are self-explanatory, as shown in our graphs above.
