Now, for our favorite benchmark set -- SYSMark 2007 Preview. SYSMark 2007 uses real life benchmarks to obtain real life performance scores, thus not a synthetic benchmark (Although, to be honest, I do have a thing for synthetics as it can narrow down performance differences on stuff such as motherboards). Anyways, most people would probably be interested to see the real life performance of something so performance oriented like a processor. In this set, the QX9650 was 20.4% faster in E-Learning, 19.2% faster in Video Creation, 5.2% faster in Office Productivity, and 35.2% faster in 3D Rendering as compared to the E7200. Please note that this benchmark set didn't really take full advantage of the quad core, but the performance difference is there.
