About HD Tune Pro 4.60

HD Tune is a hard disk utility with many functions. It can be used to measure the drive's performance, scan for errors, check the health status (S.M.A.R.T.), securely erase all data and much more.

Our final benchmark, HD Tune Pro 4.60, does not generate any independent graph outputs in particular, so I edited my screenshot a bit to make it look better for publishing in a review. The majority of the graph, much like HD Tach, is flat lined with only a small blip at the front. The little blip in front is probably due to the pre-loaded antivirus software. It differs slightly in magnitude compared to HD Tach -- probably due to testing algorithms used -- but its performance characteristics are identical in practice. As far as access time is concerned, the Kingston DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 32GB in HD Tach was around 0.2ms, while AIDA64 posts 0.28ms. HD Tune Pro came right in between at 0.264ms. Everything else should be quite self-explanatory.
