About ATTO Disk Benchmark

The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

Starting off today is our usual ATTO read and write tests. ATTO is an often quoted benchmark because it is easy to use and accurate. For the most part, it is a favorite among reviewers, and I've grown to embrace it as much as the next for the last little while. If you are ready for a can of whoop-butt, then you certainly won't be disappointed. Much like how the trio of SandForce SF-1222 based SSDs destroyed the Western Digital Caviar Blue, the OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 240GB's results is pretty much like taking an AWP to the head in Counter-Strike: Source: A massive overkill even for previous generation SSDs, but matchlessly impressive. If peaking out at 518.7MB/s write and 560MB/s read is not amazing as a single disk, I don't know what is.
