Since our SSD review benchmark results are presented in alphabetical order, first up on the list are results from one of our favorite benchmarking programs, AIDA64 Extreme Edition. As expected, the obtained results are generally within the range of what we would expect from a SF-2281 drive with 25nm synchronous flash memory; holding constant and precise 500.0MB/s in the linear read test suite. The Patriot Pyro SE 240GB trailed its OCZ counterparts by a few megabytes per second in the Random Read and Buffered Read sections, but this is nothing much to get too concerned about. Once again, the average access time is right on the mark at 0.13 ms, as shown in our graphs above.
