  1. I agree, RMA is smooth but will take about 6-8 weeks before I get it back. On the other hand, my mobo was sent it also today. It showed signs of the same problem and seeing that this problem could only be represented by either your monitor, gpu, or mobo... I started to switch and swap parts with my old PC and low and behold it was the mobo (I was personally trying to veer away from the mobo being the problem as that would mean I would be required to use my old computer until I get all my parts back). On the bright side, the one gtx 980 is in my old computer but I don't think it justifies all I've been through so far with this build.
  2. LOL, New news: My primary gtx 980 died on me Got an RMA yesterday.
  3. @TL6MT, just a few more @Big Bang, yep! The GeForce GTX green paint is easily sanded off if you remove it from the GPU unit.
  4. I believe Nvidia uses a white led with a translucent 'Geforce GTX' logo that is painted green and simply requires sanding! No problem with Christmas but as a computer theme, I can't seem to wrap my head around it haha.
  5. Still admiring the mobo armor on the VII formula I won't have any pictures soon but I do have 5 Noctuas F12PPC Industrial 2000PWM and a Swiftech cpu block if that hints what may be coming soon I wish it could have worked with the Antec, I've got all sorts of colors in my tower now since the Corsair themed their HXi series blue. Thinking of a DIY in changing the green Geforce led back-light to red to match the mobo.
  6. Welp, it's alive! Sadly, after contacting Antec and submitting a ticket of my issues the PSU still failed. Seeing this was my third one to die, I honestly didn't want deal with this issue any longer. I have swapped for an HX1000i from Corsair! On the other hand, Antec's support team was extremely quick in contacting me over the net and when things weren't progressing they had called my provided phone number to attempt to solve my problem.
  7. Sadly, not yet performance_1. I hope it pulls through soon. I have sent a ticket to Antec to see if they can look into my problem. I found the time to check my mobo and I've observed one intricate trouble. If you look at the image below after the republic of gamers text under the CPU socket, you'll see a circle cut out where a standoff/Phillips screw should go, I have a thread poking through (seems like it's to assist the placement of the mobo but correct me if I'm wrong.)
  8. Thanks for the suggestion Big bang, I had tested both GPUS and both yielded relative results. GPU1 run: GPU2 run:
  9. Hmm, that's weird. Any idea why the PSU becomes a potato before 3dmark tests on SLI? It happened twice on the intro scene (<10s in). I'm running all intake with the top as exhaust for my fan orientation.
  10. Tried 3D mark, works with one card but with SLI on the PSU gets fried. had to go back to the store to swap my PSU twice. Perhaps 1300W isn't enough for two 980s under benchmark? Quite confused. On the other hand, since I was required to re-do my cable management, I took the time to tidy things up.
  11. Thanks!, will try to clean up cable management a bit more and potentially modify the front plate of the 750D. It keeps the noise down but reduces the double 140mm air intake. No idea how to run 3dmark
  12. What are the benefits of Dell IPS monitors? First pic:
  13. Turns out the motherboard armor on the ASUS VII Formula conflicts with many larger air coolers so I have went with Thermaltake's Water 3.0 Pro. On the other hand, pictures will be up this weekend. I'm currently using an old ASUS VW246H. Keeping my eyes on some Asus 144hz/1ms monitors at the moment.
  14. Thanks! I have everything on hand besides the remaining two case fans (out of stock), CPU (shipped), and CPU cooler(shipped).
