  1. Hey there! My name's Alex Rawlings and I'm a new writer on the APH Networks Team. I was born and raised in Calgary and by some strange twist of fate, I find myself writing reviews for a tech website. How did I get here? I met Jonathan Kwan through school and quickly learned of APH Networks. At the time, I had no desire to write tech reviews. Clearly, that changed At the time, I was a student in the RTBN Program at SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary, AB. In that program, my writing abilities improved significantly and I started watching a lot of reviews/commentaries on YouTube: People like ralphthemoviemaker, iDubbbzTV, and TheNerdWriter. I developed a great appreciation and a small passion for talking about things analytically. If you've seen my first review, you can tell I'm definitely not a professional yet. The story of how I came to do that review isn't very interesting. APH Networks Reviewer Gina Gong was talking about a review she was going to do and mentioned she wanted a hand on the writing/performance side. I offered to write and perform. We quickly got to work on the review. We did one brainstorming session. Catastrophe. We were at each other's throats the whole time. Our creative differences were too great and we parted ways. I took the uPower. She took the LOVELY ELF. I stole the LOVELY ELF. We haven't talked since. Just kidding. Jonathan wanted my first review to be solo, so he asked that I review both products by myself. It took a while to make because of school, but obviously, I created it. What are my dreams? Funny you'd ask. I'd either like to be a full-time audio "engineer" or a voice actor or both. I love sound. Please give me audio stuff to review. Headphones, audio interfaces, speakers, whatever you have. tl;dr I don't talk in-person like I do in text. gnarlings=gnarly+Rawlings My favorite album is Time in Place by Artifex Pereo
  2. Hey I'm they New Guy!

Hey APH Networks! My name is Seth Claussen and I am a new guest writer for APH Networks. Just doing a short introduction of myself and look forward to talking with you all and seeing your feedback on what I have to say about this lovely realm of technology that we live in. So I go to the University of Calgary and have the pleasure of being good friends with many of the writers who are on staff already. Johnathan has asked me to come along side him and his team and write reviews for what he needs so here I am doing what I can. This is new and daunting for me as I have never done this before but I am ready and look forward to honest feed back from everyone who reads these reviews. I hope to be as unbaised as I can be and give honest representation where it is due. I am a huge nerd (Johnathan and Ben can vouch for that) and really want to get deeper into the technology that I use everyday. I love getting aquianted with the new products on the market and just want to learn the in's and out's of it all. Basically I am just super excited to start all of this and can't wait to see what happens. My first review should be coming out in the next week or so (depending on how long it takes to go through all the logistics) but keep your eyes peeled. See you on the Interwebs Friends! Seth Claussen
