What do you mean by "mess up"? If you hit something, then you'd probably fail. It's still part of the test.

No three point turns are ever necessary.

I'm guessing they'll take you to Ranchlands. Watch out for those uncontrolled intersections.

Just don't do anything weird. It's the same test as the basic test, except you drive some highway. The highway portion is really easy.

hi chconline!!! Thanks , i passed! I never did the basic since i am from another country and have valid drivers From a country called Palau,i ¬†applied to be exempted to the GDL progam and was approved to take the advance road test :)¬†i got docked from speeding a bit though , i practiced ¬†and drove a 2015 dodge¬†challenger and so yeah, speeding is a bit easy on that, ūüėÖ, it was 3-4 clicks but yeah , he said i could easily go over if i get carried away ūüėú.

Hi,

I did my basic road test at the south trail crossing registry last week and passed. If you are going to do your test there, I recommend booking it for the early morning as the 4way stop sign in the parking lot can be a nightmare. I had mine at 9am and it was no problem. We went through Douglasdale. The woman doing it was fine and gave clear direction. I did an uphill park (on a hill) and parallel park. Remember to use the emergency brake. I only got two points. I am glad they didn't take me through Mckenzie Towne because there is the two-lane roundabout there and I didn't practise it, lol. I am glad it is over.

Hello

I'm going for my basic class 5 next month in Didsbury.  I'm just wondering if anyone has taken a test there and can let me know how the examiner is. Is he fair or not?

I am 41 years old and very nervous about taking this test as I have waited way too long to do this.  I know I drive ok but get very nervous when people are rude to me. Lol.
