Nokia Lumia 635 to arrive at AT&T next week for $99

From CNET: Following close behind T-Mobile, AT&T announced Tuesday it will offer the Lumia 635 beginning July 25.

AT&T customers can pick up the 4G LTE-ready budget handset on the carrier's prepaid wireless service GoPhone for $99. Versions of the 4.5-inch handset sporting black and orange back covers can be picked up online or in AT&T stores on August 8 for $139.

The Nokia Lumia 635 is the LTE-ready variant of the globally-released Lumia 630, which CNET reviewed in full. Both handsets feature a 4.5-inch display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 5-megapixel camera, and a range of color choices. The handset also features a revamped Windows Phone 8.1 update that brings with it Microsoft's new virtual assistant Cortana, a rival to Apple's Siri and Google Now.

T-Mobile and its sub-brand, MetroPCS, announced earlier this month that it would offer the vibrantly-colored handset to customers for less than $170 without a contract. Meanwhile, those who go with MetroPCS can pocket the handset for a promotional deal of $99.
