Since our SSD review benchmark results are presented in alphabetical order, first up on the list are results from one of our favorite benchmarking programs, AIDA64 Extreme Engineer. Just to note, AIDA64 Extreme Engineer is a full synthetic benchmark. Unlike full synthetic motor oil, this usually does not always carry a good connotation. While it is not a representation of real life performance (Such as how fast Photoshop opens), it does provide valuable insight into performance between different drives and different controllers. As you can see in our graphs above, the OCZ RevoDrive 350 480GB completely destroyed the competition in every speed test. Needless to say, it was not even close. Peaking at 1814MB/s in sequential read, 1719.4MB/s in random read, and 1573.6MB/s in buffered read, this is a seriously fast drive. The only test it fell behind was the average access time at 0.11ms, but it is not going to make a difference in real life, since this figure is already so low anyway.
