From PC World: Earlier this morning, just hours before Apple is due to announce a number of changes to the iPod line up, including a rumoured camera enabled iPod Touch, price cuts have been made across the existing iPod range. The 32GB iPod Touch has dropped in price significantly from $399 to a new $279 price point, where as the 16GB model is now priced at $249 (previously $299), the 8GB iPod Touch has also received a drop from $229 to a sub two hundred dollar price point of just $189. Apple's Nano also saw a fall in price, now available from $129, while the high capacity 120GB Classic model has seen a $20 reduction and is now available for just $229. The question is are these drops in price just Apple being generous or are they clearing stock to make way for new models with higher capacities and greater features? View: Article @ Source Site |
