From X-bit Labs: Kingston Technology, the world’s largest independent maker of memory modules, has announced the addition of 2800MHz memory kits to the HyperX Predator product line. The new 2800MHz memory kits exhibit top-of-the-market speed and are specifically designed for high-end overclockers, extreme system builders and performance enthusiasts.
Kingston HyperX Predator T2 8GB dual-channel memory kit are capable of operating at 2.80GHz with CL12 latency settings at 1.65V voltage. Eventually, the kits will be available in 16GB quad-channel version. The HyperX Predator memory is Intel XMP ready and has been fully tested and validated on a wide range of motherboards currently available on the market. End users can easily overclock their systems by simply selecting a profile in BIOS with no need for manual adjustments. The profile 1 features 2800MHz frequency, CL12 14-14 timings as well as 1.65V voltage; the profile 2 sports 2666MHz clock-rate, CL11 13-13 timings as well as 1.65V voltage.
In addition to top speeds, HyperX Predator features an aggressive design to enhance the look and performance of the latest PC hardware while providing greater heat dissipation to optimize memory reliability.
“We are proud to offer our flagship 2800MHz memory kits to overclockers, benchmarkers and extreme system builders throughout the world. Our HyperX engineers will continue working hard to improve high-speed yields to get faster product in the hands of our customers,” said Krystian Jaroszynski, European product marketing manager of HyperX and server product lines at Kingston.
