EA Access Subscription Gaming Service Now Open to All Xbox One Users

From DailyTech: Microsoft and Electronic Arts definitely think they are giving Xbox One gamers a deal with the new EA Access subscription service. For $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, gamers receive unlimited access to a few older EA gaming titles - FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2, and Battlefield 4 -- and some additional perks detailed below.

While only four titles are currently available, EA hopes to greatly expand the “Vault” over the coming months.

Today, EA Access officially exited beta and is now available to all Xbox One users. Not only will gamers have full access to previously mentioned title, but they will also gain early access to game demos of upcoming titles like Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15, and Dragon Age.

Other perks include a 10 percent discount for the purchase of EA games and expansion packs.

Don’t expect to see EA Access on Sony’s PlayStation 4 anytime soon. Shortly after Microsoft and EA announced the service, a Sony representative stated, “We don’t think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer.”
