Firefox Lockbox App Will Remember Your Passwords

From PC Mag: Have a bunch of passwords saved in Firefox on your desktop? Mozilla is about to make your life a whole lot easier.

The browser maker just introduced a free password manager app called Firefox Lockbox, which syncs all the usernames and passwords you saved in Firefox on your desktop to your mobile device.

"Are you having a tough time keeping track of all the different passwords you've made for your online accounts?" Mozilla's Nick Nguyen wrote in a Tuesday blog post. "What do you do when you've saved a password on your desktop but have no way to access that online account on your mobile device? Look no further, we've created a simple app to take your passwords anywhere you go."

So, if for some reason you log out of the Instagram or Twitter app on your phone, you won't have to rack your brain trying to remember your password, or reset it, the next time you want to log in.

Passwords sync to the app using 256-bit encryption, meaning they'll be shielded from cybercriminal snoops.
