From PC Mag: Any new Diablo game release is a big deal for Blizzard and whichever platform it is launching on, even if that release is an old game repackaged. We've known the Switch is getting Diablo III since August, but what we didn't know was Nintendo decided to support it with a Switch console bundle.
On Nov. 2, GameStop will exclusively offer this Switch Diablo III bundle for $359.99. Included in the box will be a Nintendo Switch complete with Diablo III artwork on the back of the Switch as well as on the dock. There's also a themed carry case for safely transporting your Switch and a downloadable copy of the game.
The version of the game being released on Switch is the Eternal Collection, which includes the base game along with the Rise of the Necromancer and Reaper of Souls expansion packs. Switch exclusives for the game include a Ganondorf Transmog Armor, a companion Cucco pet, and a Golden Triforce Portrait Frame.
As the Switch costs $300 on its own and Diablo III will be $60, this bundle is a good deal for Diablo fans. You're effectively getting the carry case for free and the console artwork as a bonus. In other words, it's going to be a very popular bundle and GameStop will reap the benefits of having it as an exclusive.
