The official release notes for 10.7.1 are as follows: Address an issue that may cause the system to become unresponsive when playing a video in Safari The HDMI dropout issue was especially problematic according to some Ars Technica readers. "You know, that's funny. I just bought the mac mini last week and took it back because audio would cut out on HDMI," wrote one commenter, chordoflife. "I got the run-around at the apple store and through express lane and their telephone support, only to find out 3 or 4 days later (today) that it really was a software problem on their side, and not my TV or HDMI cables, and that it's fixed."
