Corsair Launches Vengeance Gaming Keyboard, Mouse Lineup

From DailyTech: It was just a decade ago that most people thought of Corsair as a company that provided high performance memory for overclockers. However, over the years, Corsair has expanded to include a wealth of product families. The company now sells SSDs, USB flash drives, power supplies, cooling products, audio equipment, and even computer cases.

Today, the company is branching out into a new category: gaming peripherals. Corsair is announcing its new Vengeance lineup that consists of three new gaming headsets, two new keyboards, and two new mice.

First up are the gaming headsets: the Vengeance 1100, 1300, and 1500. The Vengeance 1100 features a lightweight, behind-the-head design with both USB and 3.5mm analog connectors. It features 40mm drivers and is aimed at providing performance and value for gamers. The Vengeance 1100 headset is priced at $39.

Next up are the Vengeance 1300 and 1500, which both feature 50mm drivers. The Vengeance 1300 connects using 3.5mm connector for microphone/headphones, and supports X-Fi CMSS-3D. The Vengeance 1500 connects via USB and supports Dolby 5.1 and 7.1. The Vengeance 1300 and 1500 are priced at $79 and $99 respectively.

Now for the more exciting members of Corsair’s new Vengeance lineup: two new keyboard/mouse combos that we got to play around with at Corsair’s launch event at IDF. The Vengeance K60 keyboard and M60 mouse are geared towards FPS gamers. Both feature an aluminum structure, which provide a nice heft and overall sturdiness. The K60 uses Cherry MX Red mechanical key switches and features a removable palm rest for your left hand. Inside the palm rest is a little tool that allows you the remove the regular WASD keycaps and replace them with red, textured key caps for gaming duty.
